The rugged place where Syrah grows on granite, sings in black pepper and smoke, and usually costs a small fortune to sip. 

Perched where Saint-Joseph meets Condrieu, the La Madone vineyard takes its name from a hilltop shrine to the Virgin Mary - and its vines are nothing short of sacred! These 70-year-old southing-facing vines soak in the golden exposure that literally defines the Northern Rhône’s greatest sites (think rockstar Côte-Rôtie). The wine spends 12 months in seasoned barriques (zero new oak), letting the granite speak loud and clear.

 
Pure Syrah. No compromise. 100% organic, hand-picked, wild fermented - Yann Menager knows how to make magic after 20 years of crafting Grand Vin for others. And it’s not just the vines keeping him busy: sheep, goats, and chickens roam his farm, eventually starring on his mother’s table d’hôte.
