Querciabella is synonymous with Italian greatness
to those in the know. They’ve made their name is Chianti, but their project is Maremma on the western shores of Tuscany showcase their immense talents with Bordeaux varieties.

A combination of Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot, what lies underneath the cork is a beautiful balancing act of crisp, inviting acidity, pure varietal fruit flavor and character. Sourced from three distinctly fantastic sites that canvas this western Tuscan wonderland, the wine is a pedigreed example of vinous perfection that exemplifies everything we adore about Italian juice.

Spiced cherries, wild herbs, smoked meats, cocoa nibs, dried violets and spiced vanillin all play a major role in bringing this bottle into pure harmony on the palate, and lingering tannins and a keen veil of acidity seem to always have the critics in unanimous agreement.

Antionio Galloni has always had a thing for Querciabella, and rightfully so. Dropping a sexy 93 points on this Tuscan masterpiece is all the info you should need to go big, and we’ve priced it to move to make your decision a little easier. And throw in James Suckling giving it a 92 means you’ve got two serious aficionados who go all-in on this stellar producer’s exceptional wine.

Elegance and finesse trump muscle and structure, delivering a wine that has plenty of staying power yet is also light on its feet.

An Italian offering worthy of your undivided attention from a producer that always brings their A game to the party.

Buy a few bottles and move to the head of the class… you’ve officially aced the pop quiz.
