Buckle up, this Titan’s ONE TO WATCH!! Perched high in the Vaca Mountains on Napa’s eastern rim, Atlas Peak Winery was founded in 1987, a full five years before the AVA even earned its badge of official recognition. Elevations pushing 2,600 feet, quick-draining volcanic soils, and a climate built for powerhouse Cabs, Atlas Peak is quite literally the stuff myths are made of.

Named for both the Peak and the Greek myth of the sturdy Titan stuck holding up the world for eternity, this 2019 Atlas Peak Cab definitely leans into the legend. These Cabs are broad- shouldered, bold, and carry serious weight - just like Atlas’s eternal load, only a whole lot more fun to drink!

The top plots of the Atlas Peak AVA (including the famed Stagecoach Vineyard) fuel this wine. Up here, the red soils are rocky, volcanic, and razor-thin, and hammered by a climate that makes vines fight for every. single. inch. The tasty result? Fierce, terrain-driven Cabs that speak for themselves - Titans or not.

Plum, dark cherry, cinnamon, and cocoa come charging out of the glass. The palate follows suit: lush, structured, classic hillside Cab. Plenty of silky tannins promise years of aging, finishing with a whisper of cassis and brown butter. Oh, and the new French oak (40%)? Perfectly polished and delightfully toasty.

This Atlas doesn’t shrug. Whether you're lifting the world or lifting a glass, this Cab’s got you more than covered!

Big, broad, mythic, and impossible to resist… so don’t.

Ā ā€œIts brilliance shines through toasty oak, with dark chocolate strawberry and a chewy, fleshy mouthfeel. Well developed, sturdy tannins encourage broad flavors of licorice, cedar, and dark berries. Complex and well formatted.ā€
