One of Napa Valley’s best Sauvignon Blancs has landed.
And it’s yours for the taking.
Groth has been making wines for 40 years, and just because they’re known for producing exquisite Cabernet Sauvignons, it’s their work on their Sauvignon Blanc that’s really been turning heads.
Sourced from various appellations throughout the Napa Valley, the end result is a golden elixir full of ripe fruits, crunchy minerality and a luxurious finish. The wine is bright straw in the glass, with fresh and lively aromas of apricots, tangerines, honeydew melon, ripe mango, lime zest and layers of other tropical notes like guava and papaya.
Honestly with that description, we’re already dreaming of beaches, umbrellas, and skinny dipping.
A finish of lime and grapefruit leads into a long and juicy finish that leaves you wanting more, and will have you seeing the bottom of the bottle in no time flat.
It’s just that good!
And given the heat wave we’ve been having as of late (it was 114 degrees the other day!), there’s nothing quite like superb Sauvignon Blanc to quench your thirst amidst the sweltering heat of late summer.
The wine is aged sur-lie, adding richness and texture to an already scintillating wine. We absolutely adore this bottle, and happen to think it can hold its own against any SB from across the world.
