Founded in 1929 in the heart of Champagne’s Romery region, just a few clicks away from the capital city of Epernay. A family business if there ever was one, four generations of the Tribaut family have maintained their passion and expertise to produce impressively delicate and refined Champagnes. The house approaches its 100 year celebration, and these little bottles seem like the perfect opportunity to make a very big deal about this small, grower producer!
Light golden straw in the glass, a fine and delicate mousse leads the way and draws you in immediately. A fruit-forward nose of pear, plums, brioche, and pastry crust jump out of the glass, only to be met by a plush palate full of spiced fruits, toast and unctuous undertones of the reserve wines that add depth and serious personality. Loads of freshness makes this an absolute pleasure to imbibe, with a finishing touch of lemon that lingers on the palate.
The wine is aged for 30 months on the lees before disgorgement, adding complexity, nuance and unbelievable complexity for a little unknown winery that will surely become one of your new favorites.
