The Andosol Red Blend IS the Davy Crockett of Napa reds! Larger-than-life, bold, mountain-born, and FULL of frontier flair. (minus the coon skin hat)

Rockin’ the POINTS! Heavy hitters are scrambling to throw love at this dramatic red blend - 94 points from Wine Enthusiast - and honestly, we totally get it. This brilliant Zin-based blend deserves the hype!  Backed by some serious critic currency, this family-owned, single-vineyard, mountain-grown red is shaking up Napa’s blend game.

Andosol is a nod to volcanic dirt - rich, mineral driven ash and lava soils that crank out intense, structured, high-elevation wines with serious freshness and depth. Perched on the northeastern slopes of Howell Mountain AVA, Ink Grade is soaked in Napa history, tracing back to Gold Rush settlers and trailblazing pioneer Theron Ink. Now you know the story behind Andasol… and Ink.

Inspired by California’s OG field blends, with high-elevation, stressed-out vines at up to 2,200 feet delivering insane concentration, electric freshness, and drama that flat valley fruit can’t touch. The 2018 single-estate vintage dials up elegance without losing power. We’re talkin’ food-friendly firepower from serious mountain terroir, not some cozy valley floor plonk. Organically farmed from the get-go, volcanic tufa soils loaded with iron and ash deliver depth, color, and tension. This wine doesn't hold back. Nope. Mountain Zinfandel delivers those lush, juicy fruit explosions, Cabernet brings the solid backbone, and together they create a powerhouse that's big, bright, and way too easy to crush.

80% Zinfandel and 20% Cab tag-team for plush fruit, savory herbs, and volcanic soul that lingers on the finish. In the glass, expect bright black cherry meets sweet floral aromas, a pop of pepper, and a sustained swirl of volcanic minerality echo through easy going tannins, sassy acidity, and a dynamic finish. Many thanks to the dramatic diurnal shifts in temperature - they over deliver on the outstanding retention of color, flavor, structure, and depth.

Drink now, stash some for later, pair with literally anything grilled, roasted, or covered in savory sauce.

Mountain grown. Family-owned. Single vineyard.

"Bright raspberries and red cherries in the nose mingle with riper black cherries, dark chocolate and blueberries in this abundantly fruity, but also well-oaked and well-structured wine made from mostly Zinfandel. Velvety tannins, succulent fruit and spicy oak nuances all balance nicely. Best from 2025-2033."
