Gear up, wine mavericks! This coastal crush brings a sultry sip from Sonoma’s cool corridor and foggy foothills. Named after the rustic red barn that’s been the heartbeat of the winery since the 1970s, Kenwood Vineyards 2021 The Barn Pinot Noir brings a heady balance of zesty acidity and lively fruit forward fireworks.
This Pinot walks the gutsy tightrope of power and grace. Black cherry fruit and a splash of creamy oak (thanks to 18 months in French oak barrels) flirt with black tea and cinnamon for a finish that keeps you coming back for more. Cheerfully serving as your wingman for virtually any vibe - chill it for front porch sippin’ or pour for a cozy night by the fire – at 14% abv and packing 100% Pinot Noir doesn’t get more versatile than this. Pair it with cedar-plank salmon, white ricotta and mushroom pizza, or a charcuterie spread with brie and figs.

Kenwood Vineyards sits on historic ground - the site of one of Sonoma’s very first tasting rooms, opened in 1906 by the Pagani brothers. Defying all odds, the estate kept pouring wine through Prohibition – rebels with a cause. Today, Kenwood bottles wines that reflect some of Sonoma’s most diverse terroir. Critics have plenty to say about the Barn Pinot – popping 93 points from Wine Enthusiast – this bottle is ready to roll with the best of the best. Dynamic, versatile, and built to shine on any table.
Drink it now or stash it for another 5 years. The choice is always yours!

"This dynamic, sleek and well-balanced wine offers woodsmoke and black cherry flavors on a compact frame of moderate tannins and good, nervy acidity. The wine has a lip-smacking quality that keeps you sipping, and will be very versatile in food pairings. Best through 2030. — Jim Gordon"
